Fabrications is a  service-oriented interior design business specializing in the design and creation of beautifully crafted custom window treatments, bedding, pillows, cushions, and fit-like-a-glove custom slipcovers. 

      I present creative design ideas, beautiful fabrics, trims, and decorative hardware to you in your home.  My research saves you time,  simplifies decision making, and helps prevent costly mistakes.

Who We Are

     Sherry Simon began a home-based business designing, fabricating, and installing custom home fashions in northern Virginia in 1986.  She relocated to southern California from 1991 through 2004, where the business flourished.  She opened a retail shop there with a partner, office manager, three seamstresses and an installer.  

    Sherry returned to northern Virginia in 2004 and established a home-based design studio.  She has just completed a term on the executive board for the local chapter of the Window Coverings Association of America.  She remains active in this professional organizaton.
